another great show at the Willis, Texas track.
With a third place finish, Aaron Reutzel from Clute, Texas, made
the sweep as he captured the SOW6 Presented by Tango Transport Championship and the SOW6 Super Series. Reutzel takes
the crown in front of Terry Monroe and Brandon Darlington in both series standings.
Feature Results:
1) T. Elliot, 2) Pipes, 3) Reutzel, 4) McNeil, 5) Ebarb, 6) Coggins, 7) Darlington, 8) J. Lucas, 9) Plouff, 10) Mullen,

Final Race For 2007 Just Around The Corner
|
|

September 22nd-
With only one event left on the schedule for the Southern Outlaw Wing 600's Presented by Tango Transport, Aaron Reutzel
looks to wrap up the championship and make history as he and his father become the first father-son SOW6 Champions.
His father Kenny was the 2000 SOW6 Champion.
Trailing Reutzel are Terry Monroe and Brandon Darlington, respectivley.
Darlington is still in the hunt mathematically for second if Monroe's night happens to go south. Monroe, the
2004 SOW6 Champion has been one of the most consistent drivers in recent years. Darlington has been up
front most of the year and really stepped his game up for 2007. A threat to win on several occasions, Darlington has
yet to grace victory lane in 2007.
Rounding out the top five in SOW6 points are Cody Coggins and Justin Taylor.
Coggins holds a 62 point advantage over Taylor for fourth. In fact, positions 2nd through 5th can still be shuffled
as only 186 points separate these four drivers.
The remainder of the top 10 holds a fierce battle as well,
a mere 71 points is the difference from 6th to 10th. Matt Ebarb is ahead of three-time SOW6 champion
Rusty Pipes by 21 points for 6th. Pipes has competed in '07 on a part-time basis and recorded two wins along
the way. Tony Reeves is only 55 markers behind Ebarb and Dustin Gates is 64 out of fifth in the 9th position.
Rounding out the top 10 is early-season championship contender Tyson Hall 71 points from Ebarb in fifth.
As the season wraps up next week at Gator Motorplx in Willis, Texas, there looks to be a shake up in the top ten. We
may even see some of the top 10 slipping back and a new face or two up near the front. Last time SOW6 Presented
by Tango Transport visited Gator Motorplex it was #80 Michael McNeil taking the checkers for his first SOW6 win.
McNeil currently sits at 15th in the standings.
The SOW6 Friday night Super Series
was abreviated in 2007 due to the unusual high number of rain outs. As Gator Motorplex holds the key
to the final SOW6 Championship, it also holds the last word for the Super Series. Forced to pull points from this
saturdays event to crown a Super Series champ, it should be an action-packed night of racingfor the Willis, Texas 1/4
mile. Reutzel holds a 7 point lead over Monroe with Darlington, Ebarb and Taylor rounding out the top five.

SOW6 Schedule Changes
|
September 14th-
As the year starts to draw down to an end, a couple schedule changes have altered the final races of the season.
The September 28th event that was 'TBA'
will be removed from the schedule. There will not be a race on this date.
The September 29th event at Gator Motorplex
will go on as scheduled. But, this race will earn you double points to be applied to regular SOW6 Championship series points
and Friday's Super Series. Example- If
you earn 48 points.. 48 will go toward the SOW6 Championship, and 48 will go toward your Friday Super Series Championship.
The October 13th event at Champion Park Speedway has been cancelled as well. Due to the many rainouts
earlier in the year, CPS and SOW6 have agreed to cancel this date so CPS can get in their end-of-year events.
SOW6
would to thank Roger and the entire Walker family for their continued support this year!
